At any rate I thought this was hilarious, so I had to post it and chat about it a bit. Sarah and I love spreadsheets. GoogleDocs is my favorite webapp ever. I make awesome spreadsheets about todo lists, grocery lists, budgets, savings goals, home inventories, wish lists, and a plethora of other fun things that I then share with Sarah, so we can quite literally be on the same page. In google spreadsheets (and documents), you can edit cells simultaneously and when you finish, what you typed shows up for everyone viewing the spreadsheet at the time. This turns out to be a simple way to start having conversations. Nevermind that GoogleDocs has its own built in chat thing, also nevermind that we’re totally destroying the beautiful spreadsheet I just built (not really). Well anyways, this simple method of collaboration-turned-psycho-chat usually reverts to complete hilarity for Sarah and I, so I’m including a screenshot of the result of our latest little cell-based chit-chat. Notice how organized my camping supply list was
